Last Thursday, September 29th, the universities accredited in high quality by the Ministry of Higher Education and members of the Colombia Challenge Your Knowledge network met at the residence of the Ambassador of the United States to discuss possibilities for Academic Cooperation between the two countries.
In the event that was attended by the Directors of International Relations and some of the rectors, met with Mr. Francisco L. Palmieri, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States in Bogotá, to discuss the cooperation portfolio and the deepening of a university collaboration agenda.
The event presented the collaboration potential of the Colombian universities, the Go Colombia strategy and a brief recount of the calls for the 100,000 Strong in the Americas initiative, under which Unisalle has received support for three (3) bidirectional mobility projects
Likewise, the meeting served as a prelude to the preparation of a joint agenda for the next NAFSA Conference that will take place in Washington DC the last week of May 2023. A strong participation of Colombian Universities together with their peers in the United States is expected.
