From June 17th to June 28th, students from Universidad de La Salle (Unisalle) participated in an enriching intercultural and academic exchange at the International La Salle Summer Academy. This initiative, aimed at national and international students, offers interdisciplinary training courses taught by invited faculty members from various countries during the semester break period.
The 2024 edition featured contributions from four international professors representing institutions from the United States (University of Nevada, Reno, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Knox College), and Italy (University Niccolò Cusano).
The purpose of this program is to promote an international culture within university life and to create spaces that enhance global citizenship awareness. During the Summer Academy 2024, the professors took part in a panel organized by the Directorate of International and Interinstitutional Relations, where they shared their personal and professional life stories, providing students a valuable multicultural perspective.
Additionally, professors participated in academic meetings with faculty members from several departments, including Educational Sciences, Economics, Business and Sustainable Development and Engineering. These meetings were aimed at exploring potential collaboration opportunities between Unisalle and its international partners.
